Join the British Stunt Register

The (BSR) British Stunt Register is the UK’s premier stunt membership organisation dedicated to providing safe excellence in action on time and in budget.

To join the BSR and become a BSR qualified stunt performer, you must complete six skills that test your mental and physical capabilities as well as other characteristics which will put you in good stead when you are qualified and performing stunts. The 6 skills will also help you to assess whether this industry and job is right for you. Please be mindful that successfully passing these 6 skills and being accepted onto the British Stunt Register does not make you a full fledged stunt performer. It merely provides a foundation to work from where you will start to learn and hone your skills. Performing a stunt once is one thing, but doing it safely without injuring yourself or others over and over again requires dedication, knowledge and skill. Otherwise it's just an accident.

We are currently on version 3.2 as of July 2024 if you are using an earlier version of the document this latest document will supercede it. Please make sure you are working to the most update version as this could affect your training time and any costs associated with training. Please ensure you enter your information to download the latest version as the BSR is not liable for anyone working to an older version. We will endevour to advertise this page so everyone will have a chance to download the the latest requirements.
