Biography

Joel Abadal is a Spanish actor and stuntman with over a decade of experience in the film industry. Known for being the lead stunt double in the Amazon series Zorro and for his stunt actor role Helios in Spartacus: The House of Ashur.

Joel’s journey began with a strong foundation in gymnastics, earning several national medals. He further honed his skills at l’École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal, where he developed a versatile circus background. His has training in martial arts, including Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he is also a specialist in horse stunt riding, adding yet another layer to his extensive skill set.

In addition to his stunt career, Joel studied musical theatre at the Institute of Arts in Barcelona, where he refined his abilities in acting, dancing, and singing. He has participated in various musicals across Europe, showcasing his versatility as a performer.

Fluent in English thanks to his education at a British school, Joel brings a multicultural perspective to his performances.

Joel is known for his professionalism and discipline which shows in the variety of licenses has, including for car, motorcycle, truck, boat, dive master, and skydiving, further demonstrating his adventurous spirit and commitment to mastering diverse skills.
